Orthodontics involves re-aligning the teeth and under-lying roots through gentle, constant pressure to:

  • Create a well-aligned smile
  • Maximize your teeth's effectiveness
  • Protect your bite

Orthodontic treatment can help children, teens and adults find their best smile by safely moving teeth into their optimum position.

By seeing a dentist early on, it is often possible to avoid or shorten the time needed for orthodontic treatment. It is recommended that you bring your child in for an orthodontic exam between the ages of 7 and 8.

*Did you know that as many as 30% of our orthodontic patients are adults?

More and more adults and teens are choosing clear aligners that are nearly invisible. These custom-made trays are molded to the shape of your teeth, and they are removable for eating and brushing your teeth. The trays apply gentle pressure and they are replaced every two weeks or so with new trays during the course of treatment until the teeth have reached their desired position.

We often use orthodontic treatment in conjunction with orofacial myofunctional therapy or TMJ therapy to realign your bite and guide your smile to optimum balance.
